• On Feb. 8, four students were absent without permission from the United Methodist Children's Home. They were in the wooded area behind Sunrise of Worthington.

• On Feb. 8 at 5:30 p.m., a 12-year-old assaulted two students during a school function at Kilbourne Middle School, 50 E. Granville Road. Charges were to be filed with Franklin County Juvenile Court.

• Between Feb. 5 and 9, someone pushed aside a lock on a garage and stole tools from AFSCME, 6800 N. High St.

• On Feb. 10, someone stole a laptop computer from an unattended office in the 6500 block of Huntley Road.

• Overnight on Feb. 11, someone entered an unlocked door at the Seventh-day Adventist Church, 385 E. Granville Road, and stole musical instruments and a computer keyboard.

• On Feb. 12, an officer investigating a report of an assault at Quest for Independence, 670-F Lakeview Plaza Blvd., was assaulted, as was a staff member, when the suspect became aggressive. The suspect was taken to the Franklin County Jail.

• On Feb. 13 at 12:16 a.m., police received a report of underage persons drinking at a residence in the 200 block of Tucker Drive. Several youths were found to be in possession of alcohol, which was in plain sight. They were released to their parents.
