Rabbi David Fox Sandmel will present a lecture on "Faith in the Public Square" at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 21, in the Jessing Center at the Pontifical College Josephinum, 7625 N. High St. in Worthington.

Sandmel is the Crown-Ryan professor of Jewish studies at the Catholic Theological Union in Chicago. Sandmel received his undergraduate degree in Jewish studies from Ohio State University, and went on to complete his doctorate at the University of Pennsylvania.

Sandmel is director of the National Jewish Scholars project. He is involved in tri-lateral dialogue among Jews, Christians and Muslims.
