Program of Academic Exchange (PAX) is seeking central Ohio families who would like to host an exchange student beginning in August.

PAX is a nonprofit educational foundation that places teenagers from 40 different countries, in cooperation with the U.S. State Department.

Host families are asked to provide a bed, a quiet place to study and meals with the family. Students will arrive with a basic knowledge of English, a spending allowance and full medical coverage.

Families do not need to have children, and single parents and retirees are invited to apply.

Fariba Kazemi is the local coordinator for PAX. Kazemi can provide information on students from Spain, South Korea, Italy, Ghana, Germany, Brazil, Serbia and Venezuela, as well as other countries.

To learn more about hosting, call Kazemi at (614) 210-0661.General information is available online at www.pax.org.
