Kids in grades 4-6 are invited to a Bookopoly program at 2 p.m. today (Thursday, July 1) at Northwest Library. Bookopoly is a life-sized board game. Be a game piece on a room-sized board. Players will answer questions based on the Percy Jackson adventure series.

The Get Smart! Book Discussion Group, organized in conjunction with the Worthington Area Chamber of Commerce, meets quarterly to discuss books of interest to leaders, supervisors and professionals. The next meeting will be 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 7, at King Business Interiors, 6155 Huntley Road, Suite D. The selected title is, "Drive: The Surprising Truth About What Motivates Us" by Daniel Pink.

The Speaking Volumes book discussion group will meet to discuss "Let the Great World Spin" by Colum McCann at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 7, at Old Worthington Library.

The Shazzbots will perform family-oriented rock music at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 8, at Northwest Library. Free tickets are required and are available at the children's desk.

Teens can assemble a time capsule at 3 p.m. Thursday, July 8, at Northwest Library. Bring photos of friends and everyday items. The library will provide magazines to cut up and printouts of news and pop culture items.
