Overnight on Aug. 14, graffiti was spray painted in a parking lot at the rear of a business in the first block of West New England Ave.

Overnight on Aug. 15, an unlocked vehicle was entered in the 600 block of Morning Street. A GPS was stolen.

Cash was stolen from a purse at the Old Worthington Library, 820 High St., on Aug. 15.

Overnight on Aug. 15, a wallet was stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 700 block of Pingree. The vehicle was ransacked.

Overnight on Aug. 16, graffiti was painted at the skatepark at 600 W. Wilson Bridge Road.

Between Aug. 11 and 18, graffiti was painted on telephone and electrical boxes near Kilbourne Middle School, 50 E. Granville Road.

Overnight on Aug. 17, an unlocked vehicle was entered in the 200 block of Weydon Road. A computer was stolen.

Overnight on Aug. 15, items were stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 300 block of East Granville Road. The vehicle was ransacked.

Overnight on Aug. 18, a residence in the 200 block of Weydon Road was egged.

On Aug. 12, the owner of a house in the 100 block of West South Street was cited for having a junk auto on the premises and for other building code violations.

Overnight on Aug. 18, a vehicle was vandalized and tires stolen in the 1100 block of Eastfield.

On Aug. 19 at 11:30 p.m. in the 100 block of East Riverglen, an officer stopped a suspicious vehicle with juveniles on board. The occupants had just thrown a commode on the street, causing flat tires on two police vehicles. The suspects were also responsible for disturbances in Colonial Hills, including the smashing of bottles and knocking over of traffic cones. Five juveniles were released to their parents and one 18-year-old was issued a summons to Mayor's Court.

Overnight on Aug. 19, vehicles were entered in the 600 block of Farrington (two); the 200 block of Blandford; and the 800 block of Oxford. Purses, wallets, and a cell phone were stolen and windows were smashed.

On Aug. 20 at 5 p.m., police were called to the parking lot at Worthington Square, where a dog had been left in a hot car. Police entered the vehicle using a lockout tool. The owner was charged with animal cruelty.
