The Thursday Morning Book Discussion Group will discuss Helen Simonson's "Major Pettigrew's Last Stand" at 10:30 a.m. today (Thursday, Feb. 24) at Old Worthington Library.

Speaking Volumes will meet to discuss "The Children of Men" by P.D. James at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 2, at Old Worthington Library.

Dr. Jason Hurst of Joint Implant Surgeons will present "How To Extend Joint Life: Arthritis of the Shoulder, Hip and Knee" at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 3, at Old Worthington Library.

Worthington Libraries is partnering with the Columbus Clippers to host a reading league this summer. Children in preschool through sixth grade are invited to interpret the baseball theme and enter the library's Bookmark Illustration Contest. Winning drawings will be turned into bookmarks to promote the summer reading league. Contest rules and templates are available at all locations. Drawings are due by March 31.

Worthington Park Library's Homework Help Center is open from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday. The center offers dedicated computers and courtesy printing of homework-related materials. Library staff and volunteers will be available to help with school assignments.
