St. John's Episcopal Church, 700 High St., will host a free community meal for anyone in need at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, April 28. Everyone is welcome to attend. The menu will consist of spaghetti and meatballs. Salad, fruit, milk, juice, water, coffee and tea will also be offered.

St. John's Episcopal Church, 700 High St., will host a free community meal for anyone in need at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, April 28. Everyone is welcome to attend. The menu will consist of spaghetti and meatballs. Salad, fruit, milk, juice, water, coffee and tea will also be offered.

The congregation at St. John's will continue to offer this community meal on the last Thursday of every month. The church will welcome any community assistance with the meals.

Meadow Park Church of God, 2425 Bethel Road, will begin exploring "The Story" the weekend of April 30 and May 1.

Each weekend through November, the church will focus on the narratives of scripture, beginning in Genesis and continuing all the way through Revelation.

"The Story" is available in a single volume scripture narrative condensed into 31 accessible chapters. Books will be available in the church lobby for $10. Separate editions are available for adults, students and children.
