Worthington Park Library's Homework Help Center is open from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays. The center offers dedicated computers, courtesy printing of homework-related materials and library staff and volunteers to help students with school assignments.

Two English conversation groups for people with basic English skills will start next week. Classes will last 13 weeks. Northwest Library will offer classes at 3:30 p.m. Sept. 6 through Dec. 6, and Old Worthington Library will offer classes at 7 p.m. Sept. 8 through Dec. 8. Library staff will help participants with basic English skills, including pronunciation and conversation.

Worthington Libraries' newest book discussion group, Decanted, will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 6, at House Wine, 644 N. High St. The selected title is "A Homemade Life" by Molly Wizenberg.

Speaking Volumes, an evening book discussion group, will meet to discuss Maggie O'Farrell's "The Hand That First Held Mine" at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 7.

Jack Park, Ohio State football historian, radio commentator and analyst, will visit Northwest Library at 7 p.m. Sept. 8. He will discuss the history of OSU's football program, including milestone events. Copies of Park's books will be available to purchase at the event (cash and check only), and he will be available for a signing.

The library resumes regular Sunday hours of 1 to 5 p.m. Sept. 11.
