• A revolving exhibit of artists from Central Ohio Plein Air will be on view through Oct. 5. Three artists are featured each week. Plein Air artists paint outdoors.

• An exhibit featuring the New Albany Art League is on view through Nov. 6.

• Charles Wallschlaeger, a distinguished professor emeritus of Ohio State University Department of Design, has taught thousands of artists, designers and architects. An exhibit showcasing his former students’ work is on view through Nov. 13.

• Pierce and Grace Pettis at 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 30. Tickets are $20 online and $25 at the door. This father-daughter duo promises an evening of wonderful music.

• Classical voices from the Brian Banion and Elise DesChamps Studio will be featured at 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 6. Tickets are $8 online, $10 at the door, $5 for students and free for children ages 12 and younger.

• The MAC writers group, led by David Bell, meets every other Friday from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Free. The next meeting is Oct. 7. Read, share and offer feedback to others in the group.

• The New Albany Art League will sponsor an artist talk and demonstration at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 13. Free.

• A polymer clay workshop for adults will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 15. The fee is $25. Learn to create jewelry with polymer clay.

• Open the doors to creativity at the MAC during an open house for the whole family, to be held from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 16. Free. Build a computer sculpture and hear some poetry.

• “The Full Monty” (Rated R) will be screened at 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 16. Tickets are $3.
