On Aug. 25 between 4:30 and 4:55 p.m. at the Old Worthington Library, 820 High St.: A contractor doing business at the library had his payroll stolen from the console of his vehicle. The amount was $1,600, all in $100 bills.

Between Aug. 15 and 19: A bicycle was reported stolen from a yard in the 100 block of Lakeridge.

On Aug. 21 between 8:55 and 9:55 a.m. in the 700 block of High Street: Tools were taken from a trailer in the lot.

Between Aug. 1 and 11 in the 500 block of Blandford: Items were stolen from an attached garage.

Overnight on Aug. 20 in the 6800 block of Bowerman: A change purse was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle. The purse contained $300, pills, sunglasses and a gift card.

Overnight on Aug. 21 in the 100 block of East Granville Road: A bicycle was reported stolen from a front yard.

On Aug. 23 at 5:32 p.m.: A bicycle was reported stolen from the Old Worthington Library, 820 High St. An officer spotted the bicycle at a nearby drug store and apprehended a juvenile. He was turned over to his mother and charges were forwarded to juvenile court.

Six vehicles were entered overnight on Aug. 23.In the 400 block of Blandings Court, a computer was reported stolen. In the 300 block of Schrock Road, a credit card was stolen. In the 7000 block of Rieber Street, cash was reported stolen from one vehicle and nothing from a second. In the 6700 block of Bowerman Court, cash and a GPS were reported stolen. In the 300 block of Greenglade, a GPS was reported stolen.

Overnight on Aug. 20 in the 6800 block of Hayhurst: An unlocked vehicle was entered and a GPS, headphones, DVDs, a remote and a Nintendo game were stolen.

Overnight on Aug. 24 in the 500 block of East Dublin-Granville Road: Someone cut the locks to storage units. The amount of the loss was undetermined.

Overnight on Aug. 24 and 25, 11 vehicles were damaged by vandals or were broken into. A drill appeared to have been used to make holes in the door of a vehicle in the 200 block of Halligan Avenue. It also was scratched, as was another vehicle in the 200 block of Halligan and one in the 200 block of Heischman. On the next night, theft from two vehicles was reported in the first and the 200 blocks of Halligan, and two vehicles were damaged in the 6900 block of Eastview Road; two in the 100 block of Heischman; and one in the 100 block and one in the 200 block of Halligan. Scratches and gouges were made in paint, mirrors were broken, and convertible tops were cut.
