Worthington police reports

Overnight on Oct. 21 in the first block of East Wilson Bridge Rod: A laptop was reported stolen from a vehicle that might have been left unlocked.

On Oct. 22 between 8:30 and 10:55 p.m. in the 600 block of High Street: A vehicle window was smashed and a purse reported stolen.

On Oct. 23 between 12:30 and 3 p.m. at the Shops at Worthington Place: Two people reported having purses taken by what police called a pickpocket. Someone had attempted to use one of the stolen credit cards. The rest of the items were found at Polaris Fashion Place.

On Oct. 24 at 3:45 p.m. in the 7000 block of Rieber Street: A man driving a red Dodge Charger allegedly stopped and attempted to gain entry into a residence. He was observed by the resident and left the scene.

On Oct. 19 at 2:52 p.m. at the Park National Bank, 7140 N. High St.: Two men presented forged payroll checks.

ON Oct. 26 between 1 a.m. and 12:45 p.m. in the 900 block of Proprietors Road: A van was pried open and tools reported stolen.

Overnight on Oct. 28 in the 2100 block of West Dublin-Granville Road: A shop was burglarized by prying a rear door. A cash drawer, cash, an iPad and a card reader were reported stolen.
