A resident of the 6300 block of Proprietors Road had a debit-card number stolen at the McDonald's on Sinclair Road on Dec. 10. The card was used to buy gift cards at Walmart.

A resident of the 6500 block of Emco Place reported jewelry and a safe-deposit key missing from a jewelry box in her home. The items were taken between June 1 and Aug. 31.

Someone broke into a house in the 5500 block of Indianola Avenue between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. Dec. 10. Entry was made through a doggy door. Electronic items and a purser were reported stolen.

Between Dec. 10 and 12, a laptop computer was stolen from a business in the 6100 block of Huntley Road.

A resident of the 300 block of Pinney Drive said a neighbor stole several shrubs from his yard and replanted them in his own yard between Dec. 6 and 11.

At 6:40 a.m. Dec. 12, police responded to a report of a heroin overdose in the 6400 block of Strathaven Court West. The person was taken to Riverside Hospital by Worthington medics.

Between 10:30 and 10:50 a.m. Dec. 13, a Thomas Worthington High School student who was reported as truant from class was found wandering the hallways, allegedly under the influence of drugs. Marijuana and paraphernalia were found in his possession.

A woman returned home in the 500 block of Park Overlook at 11 p.m. Dec. 13 to find all of the lights on inside the house and the rear door forced open. A television had been taken and jewelry boxes and drawers rifled through, she said.

Several rods and reels were reported stolen from Orvis at the Shops at Worthington Place between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. Dec. 13.
