Columbus, Worthington apprehend pair of thieves

Two juveniles were arrested in the 300 block of Loveman Avenue at 1:30 a.m. Feb. 6 after they were seen by Columbus police stealing from vehicles in Columbus.

Columbus police followed them to Worthington, and Worthington police assisted in the apprehension of the suspects.

One ran from police, but was captured.

Both agencies filed charges for stealing from vehicles, reports stated.

In other recent Worthington police reports:

* Police were called to Worthingway Middle School, 6625 Guyer St., on Feb. 6 after a student struck a teach-er.

* A 13-year-old girl reported being solicited for sex on Facebook several times between Dec. 1, 2012, and Feb. 10. The investigation continues.

* Police are investigating a report from the Franklin County Board of Developmental Disabilities regarding an incident that allegedly took place at an agency in the 300 block of East Wilson Bridge Road.

One client was reported to have restrained and had sexual contact with another client.

* On Feb. 4, police were called to a business in the first block of East Wilson Bridge Road on a report of a disturbance.
