All 14 Thomas Worthington High School students who entered the State Science Day on May 11 won either superior or excellent ratings.
Held at Ohio State University, the annual event is said to be the equivalent of a state athletics championship.
Sponsored by the Ohio Academy of Science, it is the largest of its kind in the nation, according to the organization's website, with 1,000 students participating.
The Thomas students performed well at a district science fair to qualify for the state event.
"We are proud of all of our students for their participation and accomplishments," said Jodi Bacon, chairman of the science department at Thomas Worthington.
The 14 students presented 10 projects, with some students sharing a project.
Earning superior ratings were Sarah Bellish, Nicole D'Avignon, Anna Farrell, Jon Reed, David Arman, Christina Liu, Ashish Vankara, Jingwen Zhang, Rachel Kneessi, Elliot Neeld and Dana Nagai.
Earning excellent ratings were Nishantika Bhattacharya, Sabine Dritz and Elizabeth Brown.
Other State Science Day sponsors are American Electric Power, the Ohio Environmental Education Fund, Boehringer Ingelheim Roxane Inc. and Battelle.
