Worthington: Thieves target High Street business

The glass door of a business in the 600 block of High Street was broken between 3:20 and 6:13 a.m. June 26, and several items were stolen.

According to Worthington police reports, three flat-screen TVs, a stereo tuner and 23 bottles of alcohol were stolen from the business during the break-in.

In other Worthington Division of Police incidents:

* A computer, two TVs and a guitar were reported stolen from a residence in the 5700 block of North High Street between 11 a.m. and 5:50 p.m. June 21.

* A TV, coins and a belt buckle were reported stolen from a residence in the 5700 block of Foster Avenue between 1 and 4:35 p.m. June 24. A door was forced open to get in.

* A bicycle was reported stolen from outside a business in the 5500 block of North High Street at 9:05 p.m. June 28. A security camera captured video of a black male taking the bike.

* A counterfeit $20 was used at a business in the 2100 block of West Dublin-Granville Road at 4:32 p.m. June 25. A white male in his 20s or 30s used the bill.
