Ohio State University's Program 60, registration information session, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 8 in the Barbie Tootle Room on the third floor of the Ohio Union at OSU. This session, sponsored by the Program 60 Association, will provide individual guidance on course selection and registration procedures for Ohio residents age 60 or older. Sixth Annual Kayak for a Cure Columbus, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 24 at Genoa Park. Kayaks and gear will be provided for those who do not have their own. No experience is necessary, as professional guides will provide instruction. Paddleboards and canoes also are welcome. A light breakfast will be served prior to the paddle and lunch will be served following the paddle. All funds raised will be donated to the Nationwide Children's Center for Childhood Cancer Research. Columbus Wine Festival, presented by Giant Eagle, 4 to 10 p.m. Aug. 9 and 2 to 8 p.m. Aug. 10 at the Franklin Park Conservatory, 1777 E.
