Worthington: $4,300 in medical equipment taken from a loading dock

Bug-infested medical equipment was reported stolen from a loading dock but might have been taken by someone who believed it had been discarded.

The telemonitor and blood-pressure hose and cuff were taken from outside an office in the 400 block of East Wilson Bridge Road between 1 and 2:30 p.m. Aug. 16.

Though the items were left near a dumpster, they were not being thrown away. The value of the equipment was listed at $4,300.

In other Worthington Division of Police incident reports:

* Three catalytic converters were stolen from business vehicles in the 6100 block of Huntley Road overnight Aug. 16.

* A burglar might have fled after an alarm sounded during a break-in at a restaurant in the 600 block of High Street at 5:25 a.m. Aug. 22. Police responded to the alarm and found a window pane missing.

* Police were called to the 6600 block of Markwood Street after neighbors had a dispute over political signs between 9:15 and 10 a.m. Aug. 20.

* A purse was reported stolen from a vehicle in the lot at Thomas Worthington High School between 2:45 and 5 p.m. Aug. 25.
