Driving through the city will be a little more challenging in September.
Construction of High Street between Granville and Wilson Bridge roads is scheduled to begin this week, and railroad track repairs are set to close parts of Worthington-Galena Road beginning Sept. 11.
Work on High Street will include the repair of concrete curbs, gutters and the pavement base, as well as repaving of the entire stretch of roadway.
The project is funded through the city's capital improvements program. Two-way traffic is expected to be maintained throughout the project, with some lane restrictions. Drivers should expect delays during the construction.
The project is expected to be completed by the end of September.

Norfolk Southern Railroad will repair the crossing at Worthington-Galena Road. The road will be closed to traffic in both directions from Sept. 11 to 25.
Signs will direct drivers to alternative routes.
