Preliminary auditions for the first Worthington's Got Talent competition will be held at the McConnell Arts Center from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 22.
Two other preliminary auditions were held Sept. 1 and 8.
The finals will be held at the McConnell Arts Center on Oct. 12.
Worthington's Got Talent will have two categories: singing and other.
"If you've got a talent, we want to see you," said Jon Cook, executive director of the McConnell Arts Center.
The contest is an excellent way to showcase the many and diverse talents in Worthington, he said.
"Since we opened the MAC, I've been blown away by the artistic talent in the community -- painting, sculpting and other art forms," he said. "This will give us a venue to showcase the performing arts."
The winners will split $6,000 in prize money. The winner of the singing competition also will be given a free recording session.
The competition is sponsored by the McConnell Arts Center, Worthington Realty and Oatts Music.
"If you're a mime, ventriloquist, comedian or storyteller, come on down," Cook said.
