House on Fire: What Matters is the title of the October exhibit at High Road Gallery, 12 E. Stafford Ave. in Worthington.

The Creative Arts of Women has challenged its members to translate the many issues confronting society into art. Chairs of the show are Molly Hannon and Catherine Bell Smith. The exhibit will feature a wide range of media and styles, including painting, photography, sculpture, fiber and more.

The Central Ohio Woodturners also will participate with vessels as well as furniture and other wood crafted pieces.

Show dates are Oct. 2 through Oct. 26. The public is invited to the artists' reception from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 6.

Jim Glover, the gallery's resident artist, will be on hand to share his work throughout the show.
