Worthington: Thieves target Wilson Bridge Road businesses

Three businesses on Wilson Bridge Road were broken into overnight between Sept.16 and 17.

A business in the first block of East Wilson Bridge Road was ransacked and items, including a TV, were stolen between 8:30 p.m. Sept. 16 and 6:05 a.m. Sept. 17. A front glass door was broken to get in.

A business in the 500 block of West Wilson Road was broken into between 5 p.m. Sept. 16 and 7:26 a.m. Sept. 17. A chunk of cement was used to smash a first-floor window. The business was ransacked, but employees were unsure about what had been stolen.

At another business in the first block of East Wilson Bridge Road, a brick was thrown through a first-floor window between 6:50 p.m. Sept. 16 and 9:37 a.m. Sept. 17, but no entry appears to have been made.

In other Worthington Division of Police incident reports:

* A train engine's water pump, train spring tracks and connection rod were stolen from a business in the 500 block of East Granville Road between 3:37 and 4:34 a.m. Sept. 19.

* A storm glass door was broken by an unknown object at a residence in the 5600 block of Selby Court at 1 a.m. Sept. 17.
