West Dublin-Granville at Linworth

Site clears another annexation hurdle

The site of the former Segna Motors took another step toward being annexed into Worthington on Oct. 7.

The annexation of the 3.2 acres at the southwest corner of West Dublin-Granville and Linworth roads was introduced by Worthington City Council, which will hold a public hearing on the issue Oct. 21.

The site is in Perry Township.

Last spring, Premier Commercial Real Estate Services of Morgantown, W.Va., announced plans to build a 40,000-square-foot shopping center called Linworth Crossing on the site of the former Volvo dealership.

Developers have been in contact with the city, but no plans have been submitt-ed.

Representatives of owner Joseph Segna petitioned for annexation with the Franklin County commissioners, who approved it July 30.
