Worthington Presbyterian Church will host an Education Gap Discussion and Dinner Series session at 6:40 p.m. Oct. 21, in the church fellowship hall, 773 High St.
The program is designed to address questions such as what individuals are experiencing an education gap where achievement lags behind standards and expectations and what can be done to improve.
The speaker will be Janet Monseur-Durr, the diversity/education equity coordinator for Hilliard City Schools. Her presentation will be "Understanding and Implementing Culturally Responsive Schools," addressing the question, "What Can We Do to Improve?." Creating culturally responsive communities offers solutions to that critical question.
