Assaults reported at community living center

A day school for people with developmental disabilities reported assaults Oct. 11 and 17. Both cases involved students assaulting other students at Aspen Community Living, 406 E. Wilson Bridge Road.

In other Worthington Division of Police incident reports:

•A student at Kilbourne Middle School, 50 E. Granville Road, was found smoking marijuana in a restroom on Oct. 15 at 1 p.m.

•A woman was arrested for shoplifting at CVS, 918 High St., on Oct. 15 at 5 p.m.

•Staff at a senior residential center in the 800 block of Hartford Street reported that someone urinated through the mail slot of an office door Oct. 14 or 15. The carpet was damaged.

•A backdoor screen at a residence in the 200 block of Melbourne Place was cut in an apparent attempt to enter between 2 p.m. Oct. 16 and 10:30 a.m. Oct. 17.

•A case of identity fraud was reported by a resident of the 200 block of West South Street. Someone used the victim's information to obtain IRS tax refunds in the victim's name for the tax year 2011 and 2012.

•Chairs inside the shelter house at Selby Park were damaged on Oct. 17 or 18.
