Someone didn't return a bear suit rented for Halloween

If you see a bear, call the cops. His fur might be stolen.

On Halloween, Oct. 31, a mascot organization in the 500 block of East Wilson Bridge Road reported someone had rented a bear costume and failed to return it.

The same day, in unrelated cases, a business in the 6200 block of Proprietors Road reported someone stole company checks and forged them for cash.

Also, a car dealership in the 700 block of East Granville Road reported a missing 2014 Chevy Impala.

Someone stole 12 batteries and six cross-cable connectors from company vehicles in the 6500 block of Huntley Road between Oct. 25 and 27.

In other Worthington Division of Police incident reports:

* Someone broke into a vehicle by smashing a window in the first block of Wesley Boulevard between 10 a.m. and noon on Nov. 3.

* A fraudulent ATM transaction occurred at a bank in the 7100 block of North High Street between Oct. 23 and 30.

* A resident of the 400 block of Pittsfield Drive reported a man tried to use a key to open her door. He told her he was a former resident.

* A man was seen urinating in Perry Park, 2300 Collins Drive, at 3:07 p.m. Nov. 3.
