* Old Worthington Library and Worthington Park Library's homework help centers are open from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays. The Northwest Library center is open from 4 to 7 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays.

* Old Worthington Library's Thursday Morning Book Discussion Group will consider Erik Larson's In the Garden of Beasts at 10:30 a.m. Nov. 21.

* Ages 4-6 are invited to Northwest Library's Bookworms Book Club. Prior to the meeting, which will start at 4 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 21, those attending should read Karma Wilson's Bear Snores On.

* During the third installment in the seven-part series, Gardening & Beyond, Rick Gardner, an Ohio Department of Natural Resources botanist, will teach those attending how to identify wild edibles. The session will start at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 21, at the Griswold Center, 777 High St.

* The library will lead a storytime in the children's area at the Shops at Worthington Place, 7227 N. High St. The storytime, which starts at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 23, will feature the Mouse (If You Give a Mouse a Cookie) costumed character.

* Teens can make a tablet computer cover during the Northwest Library workshop DIY: Cover Me, which starts at 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 23.
