Events and programs

Holiday Open House, noon to 5:30 p.m. Dec. 1 in Downtown Worthington. Guests are invited for musical entertainment, a visit and photographs with Santa in front of the Worthington Inn and holiday snacks at area shops. Beginning at 4 p.m., crafts and an ice carving demonstration will be on the southeast Village Green prior to the 5:30 p.m. tree lighting celebration. Canned goods and cash donations will be collected for the Worthington Food Pantry and Resource Center. Collection points include the Worthington Inn porch and along New England Avenue at the carriage stop. At 5:30 p.m. a carriage will bring Santa to the Village Green.
