In honor of classmate Drew George, this year's Valentine dance at Worthington Kilbourne High School will raise money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

The dance will be Saturday, Feb. 8.

George, a sophomore at the school, is having complications from leukemia.

Each year, student council chooses to raise funds for a cause that has meaning to the students or staff.

During the first phase of fundraising, a talent show was put on by students.

Money raised from that will be combined with what is raised from election of the Valentine court.

To vote for king or queen, a student donates to the charity. The candidates who raise the most will be crowned king and queen during the dance.
