Worthington: Alarm prevents break-in at Tucker Drive residence

An alarm apparently scared off burglars at a residence in the 500 block of Tucker Drive at 10:48 p.m. Feb. 6.

Police responded and found the garage door had been opened and an interior door pried, but no entry was gained.

In other Worthington police incident reports:

• A bartender at Monkey's Bar, 6161 Huntley Road, was robbed at gunpoint about 11:30 p.m. Feb. 6.

• An employee of a home health care agency in the 6600 block of North High Street reported that some-one had forged and cashed a check on the business account Dec. 2, 2013. The amount of the check was $515.

• A 21-year-old man was arrested after he was found wandering in and out of traffic in the 500 block of High Street at 3:41 p.m. Feb. 8. He was released to a parent and summoned to Mayor's Court.

• Someone entered a residence in the 300 block of Schrock Road between Jan. 13 and 15, stole personal information and used it to try to open accounts.

• Two air-conditioning units were stolen from a business in the 600 block of Lakeview Plaza Boulevard between Jan. 31 and Feb. 3.
