Worthington: Thieves take tools, trucks in industrial area

Tools and trucks in the city's industrial area were the targets of thieves recently.

Between April 18 and 21, someone punched a lock on a truck in the 500 block of East Wilson Bridge Road. Tools were stolen.

On April 21 or 22, a box trailer was hauled away from a business in the 500 block of Schrock Road. The trailer's value was $2,825.

Tools and products valued at $1,015 were stolen from an unlocked truck in the 700 block of Lakeview Plaza Boulevard April 24.

In other Worthington police incident reports:

•About noon April 24, police were called to a treatment center in the 300 block of East Wilson Bridge Road on a report of a client who had assaulted a staff member by throwing a water bottle.

The client was transported to the Ohio State University emergency room for evaluation.

•A wallet was stolen at Panera Bread in the Shops at Worthington Place between 3:30 and 3:45 p.m. April 25. A debit card from the wallet was used to charge items at a Walgreens.

•Two $10 gift cards were stolen from a mailbox in the 500 block of Kenbrook Drive between 2:45 and 4:30 p.m. April 21.
