Thomas' Kyeremeh signs with West Virginia
Thomas Worthington High School defensive back and wide receiver Nana Kyeremeh signed a national letter of intent Feb. 1 to play football at West Virginia University.
Kyeremeh, rated a three-star cornerback by Rivals.com, had offers from about a dozen Division I colleges. The 5-10, 168-pound Kyeremeh had six interceptions, six blocked kicks and was the team’s leading receiver with 20 catches for 278 yards as the Cardinals finished 4-6.
He was first-team all-OCC-Cardinal Division and all-district in Division I as a defensive back.
Kyeremeh, who plans to major in engineering, made his official visit to West Virginia on Nov. 4. The Mountaineers went 10-3 last year, won a share of the Big East Conference championship and defeated Clemson 70-33 in the Orange Bowl.
