The Thomas Worthington and Worthington Kilbourne high school wrestling teams will meet in the first round of the inaugural Division I state dual-meet tournament.

The Cardinals and Wolves are seeded fourth and fifth, respectively, in Region 5-B, and will meet Wednesday, Jan. 23, at Hilliard Darby. The winner will face top-seeded Darby or eighth-seeded New Albany in the second round Jan. 30 at a site to be determined.

The second-round winner will face second-seeded Westerville North, third-seeded Hilliard Bradley, sixth-seeded Westerville South or seventh-seeded Whetstone in a regional semifinal Jan. 30.

The regional final will be held Feb. 6.

Thomas defeated Kilbourne 53-12 on Jan. 3.
