Thomas drops two league games

The Thomas Worthington High School hockey team is 5-16-0-1 overall after having its CHC-Blue Division game against Dublin Scioto on Jan. 26 postponed because of bad weather and losing two weekend contests against division opponents.

The Cardinals lost to Kilbourne 6-1 on Jan. 24 at Chiller North as Tom Pischel scored and Zach Graham had 26 saves.

Dominic Caminiti scored twice in a 5-2 loss to Watterson on Jan. 25 at Chiller Easton. Chris DiMarco had 22 saves.

Wolves tied for CHC-Blue lead

Kilbourne is 6-6-0-2 in the CHC and tied with Watterson (7-7) for first in the Blue Division with 14 points.

The Wolves fell to 12-8-0-2 overall after losing to Watterson 5-2 on Jan. 26 at Chiller Easton. Ryan Agner and Will Givens scored.

On Jan. 25, the Wolves defeated Scioto 12-0 at Chiller North. Agner had five goals and Mike Roman and Johnny Mack scored twice. D.J. Freer, Givens and Tate VanArsdale each had one goal.

Agner scored three times against Thomas. Freer and Tucker Haas scored once and Jacob Eymann had 17 saves.

Trailing Kilbourne and Watterson in the CHC-Blue are Olentangy (6-7, 12 points), Thomas (1-10-0-1, 3) and Scioto (0-14, 0).
