Feb. 26 black history event open to the community

In celebration of Black History Month, New Albany-Plain Local students will present Rhythm Nation at 6 and 7 p.m. Feb. 26 in the Jeanne B. McCoy Community Center for the Arts, 100 W. Dublin-Granville Road.

A tuition-based all-day kindergarten pilot program received mixed reviews from the New Albany-Plain Local school board Feb. 9.

Board sets guidelines for teachers' performance pay

The New Albany-Plain Local school board Feb. 9 voted unanimously to approve standards for teachers' performance-based pay increases that were part of the contract negotiated last year with the Plain Local Education Association.
