Only students living within about a half-mile of their Whitehall elementary school are eligible for busing after Whitehall school board members acted Aug. 13 to halve the minimum qualifying distance.

Section of high school will be renamed in Armes' honor

Whitehall school board members and city officials will gather at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 29, at Whitehall-Yearling High School, 675 S. Yearling Road, to formally dedicate the Walter Armes Learning Center in honor of the board's president.
