Thomas Tucker is leaving his position as superintendent of Worthington City Schools to take the top post with the Princeton school district near Cincinnati.

Worthington superintendent leaving for Cincinnati-area job

Worthington Superintendent Thomas Tucker is leaving at the end of this school year to become superintendent in a Cincinnati-area school district. The Princeton school board unanimously voted at a meeting last night to hire the 48-year-old Tucker. He is expected to sign a contract today.

District's 2015-16 school year runs Aug. 19-May 25

School tentatively will start Aug. 19, 2015, and end May 25, 2016, and students will get two full weeks of winter holiday break, according to the proposed 2015-16 school calendar, which was introduced during the Worthington Board's Oct. 13 meeting.
