MANSFIELD — The Lakewood St. Edward High School football team ended Westerville Central’s most successful season in program history, cruising past the Warhawks 41-0 in a Division I, Region 1 semifinal Nov. 22 at Arlin Field.

Staring at arguably the most adversity their team had faced in 11 weeks, Deeb Haber and Obi Anunike of the Olentangy High School football team came through on a play they rarely need to execute.

Athens 52, DeSales 20

LOGAN — No one would have guessed by looking at the score, but the DeSales High School football team had things going its way for a while Nov. 21 against Athens in the Division III, Region 9 final.
Division IV, Region 13 Final

Steubenville 29, Beechcroft 21

ZANESVILLE — Beechcroft High School football coach Trevor White told his players that what happened during the postgame handshake line after the Division IV, Region 13 championship game Nov. 21 at Zanesville might have overshadowed a gutsy second-half performance by his team.

Coffman's season ends with loss to Wayne
