Bexley graduate helped Capital clinch OAC soccer championship

Senior Josh Thaboune, a Bexley graduate, scored in a shootout as the Capital men's soccer team captured the OAC championship by defeating Ohio Northern 3-2 on Nov. 7. The Crusaders won the penalty-kicks session 2-1. Senior Marty Assmann threw for 236 yards and two touchdowns on 17-for-29 passing and senior Dominic D'Andrea ran 34 times for 151 yards and two touchdowns as Capital beat Muskingum 35-7 on Oct. 31.
