Resident named DSCC Associate of the Month

Canal Winchester resident Dan Sommer has been named the Defense Supply Center Columbus Associate of the Month. Sommer supervises a team in the maritime supplier operations directorate that supports the Navy's nuclear reactor program. He was recognized for his efforts to reduce back orders and also for his continuing work to improve support the Navy's Landing Craft Air Cushion program. He was also commended for his willingness to work with others to resolve issues and mentor other associates. Sommer has worked for DSCC for three years. He is a graduate of Groveport High School and has an associate degree in organizational leadership and a bachelor's degree in business administration, both from Franklin University.
