Holiday Preview set for Dec. 5

The Junior League of Columbus will host its 11th annual Holiday Preview from 7 to 10 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 15, at Saks Fifth Avenue, 1350 Polaris Parkway.

A festive evening of dining and shopping is planned, with an exclusive 15 percent discount, entertainment, a silent auction of themed holiday trees and a raffle featuring Saks merchandise.

Culinary partners include Bakery Gingham, Cantina Laredo, Columbus Fish Market and Moretti's of Arlington.

Tickets are $40 pre-sale or $50 at the door.

BalletMet Columbus will commemorate the holiday season with the 26th annual Nutcracker Ball at 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5, at the Hilton Columbus/Polaris, 8700 Lyra Drive.

The ball celebrates BalletMet's "The Nutcracker," which will run Dec. 11-23 at the Ohio Theatre.

The black-tie affair features cocktails, dinner, dancing and entertainment.

Proceeds of corporate and individual table sales help support BalletMet's performances, Dance Academy and education/outreach programs.
