Heitker, Sheridan unite in marriage

Katie Heitker and John Sheridan exchanged were married July 4 at St. Paul Catholic Church, Westerville. The bride is the daughter of Jim and Lindy Heitker of Westerville. The groom is the son of Pat and Wanda Sheridan of Athens, Ohio. Mindy Heitker, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Patti King, friend of the bride; Les Peconi, friend of the bride; Alex Reese, cousin of the bride; and Jenny Voss, friend of the bride. Sheridan Boyd, niece of the groom, was flower girl. Bill Lawton, friend of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Jordan McCoy, friend of the groom; Brian Miller, friend of the groom; Kevin Sheridan, brother of the groom; and Mike Kreitzer, friend of the groom. Ring bearer was Grant Lach, nephew of the groom. Ushers were Joey and "T" Heitker, brothers of the bride. The couple honeymooned on St. Martin and is at home in Gahanna. The bride is a 2001 graduate of St. Francis DeSales High School and a 2005 graduate of the University of Dayton with a bachelor's degree in communication-journalism. She is an editor for McGraw-Hill in Columbus. The groom graduated from Warren Local High School in 2000 and received a bachelor's degree in communication from Ohio University in 2005.
