Bake Sale, sponsored by the families of Grove City Christian School, 3:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 9, at Teabury Square South and Andover Strait in Hoover Park. The sale will benefit the Grove City Food Pantry and will run until all items are sold out. The rain date is 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 10.

Fish dinner, Trinity Methodist Church, 4850 Haughn Road, Grove City, Oct. 9 and 10. Dinners will be served on Friday, Oct. 9 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and on Saturday, Oct. 10 from 3:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m., rain or shine

Car Seat Safety Checks, sponsored by Jackson Township Fire Department, 9 a.m.-noon Saturday, Oct. 10, at Fire Station 202, 3650 Hoover Road. To schedule an appointment, call 875-5588 between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Spirit Breakfast, 7:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 15, at Bishop Ready High School, 707 Salisbury Road. Guest speaker will be Chris Strickland, assistant athletic trainer for the Columbus Blue Jackets hockey team. Cost is $15, with proceeds to benefit the school's athletic programs. Chicken Noodle Dinner, 4-7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, at 1160 High St., Harrisburg. Dinner includes chicken and noodles, dressing, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, cole slaw, applesauce, beverage and dessert.
