Snow slowed traffic to a crawl on I-270 this morning.
Snow falls, schools close
Up to 8 inches expected from latest winter storm

Columbus City Schools' middle and high schools will close one hour early today, at 1:30 p.m., the district has announced. Elementary schools and the district's K-8 schools will release at their normal times.

Sculpture honoring smithy wins Dublin competition

A modern take on a long-gone blacksmith shop has won a public-art competition in Dublin.

The Dublin Arts Council has selected Providence, R.I., artist Brower Hatcher, 67, for a $150,000 project that will help commemorate the city's bicentennial celebration in the fall.
