• Between 1 and 1:28 a.m. Oct. 30, in the 200 block of Hoover Street: A woman reported a young male who said he was looking for her son entered her home via a rear door. He pushed her out of the way and fled, she said.

• 2:30 p.m. Oct. 28, Newark High School, 314 Granville St.: Police detained a student with 13 pills in his possession. The principal said he saw the student attempt to give the pills to another student.

• Between 7:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. Oct. 27, Newark High School: A girl said another student threatened her.

• Burglary and break-in reports were made last week from the first block of Wyoming Street, the 300 block of North 11th Street, the first block of Allen Street, the 600 block of Glenbrook Drive and the first block of McKinley Avenue.
