LCHD sets H1N1 clinics

The Licking County Health Department has announced the following H1N1 vaccine clinics. The clinics are for all individuals ages 6 months to 24 years old, pregnant women, caregivers and household contacts of infants under 6 months of age, and health-care and EMS workers.

  • From 3 to 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 16, at Watkins Middle School, 8808 Watkins Road SW in Pataskala.
  • From 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18, at Johnstown-Monroe High School, 401 S. Oregon St. in Johnstown.

Starting Thursday, Nov. 19, adults 25 to 64 with serious health conditions will be added to the list of people eligible for the H1N1 vaccination. Clinics that also will serve adults with health conditions will be:

  • From 1:30 to 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 19, at the Licking County Health Department, 675 Price Road in Newark.
  • From 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 20, at the Licking County Health Department, 675 Price Road in Newark.

The health department will continue to schedule H1N1 clinics as additional shipments of vaccine are received.
