Seven Olentangy schools were locked up Wednesday because of a manhunt.
At about 1:05 p.m. Wednesday, Olentangy Orange High School, Olentangy Orange Middle School, Freedom Trail Elementary School, Oak Creek Elementary School, Glen Oak Elementary School, Alum Creek Elementary School and Arrowhead Elementary School were placed on a level one lockdown, a written document from the district said. This means that all external doors were locked and students were kept inside for recess. Students are continuing with classes as scheduled inside these schools. This decision was made due to the Delaware County Sheriff's Office being in pursuit of two suspects related to an alleged break-in on Africa Road. Story toolsToday’s Top Stories
