All Goddard School alumni are invited to apply for the Anthony A. Martino Memorial Scholarship, to be given to an eligible junior or senior high school student.

The $10,000 scholarship, named for the founder of the Goddard School, is given to one Goddard School alumnus each year and helps to finance tuition at the college or university of the student's choice.

Applicants can access the scholarship application online at www.goddardschool.com, under the communications tab. The deadline to apply is Feb. 12, 2010.

Samantha Griffith, a senior at Pickerington High School Central, has been named a Burger King Scholar.

Griffith will receive a $1,000 scholarship in recognition of outstanding academic achievement and community involvement.

Scholarships are provided through the Have It Your Way Foundation. She is one of 40 winners in Ohio.
