Man indicted for robbery

A man has been indicted in connection with September robberies of a convenience store in Sunbury and a fast-food restaurant in Hilliard.

Shawn L. Buoni, 36, who lives in the 670 block of Perilous Place, Galloway, was indicted by a Delaware County grand jury on Oct. 30 for aggravated robbery, robbery and kidnapping, said Lt. Tom Daniels of the Sunbury Police Department. The charges are in connection with the Sept. 9 robbery of United Dairy Farmers, 303 West Granville Street, Sunbury, on Sept. 9, Daniels said.

A Franklin County grand jury indicted him for aggravated robbery, two counts of robbery, three counts of felonious assault, assault and failure to comply in connection with the robbery of a Burger King in Hilliard, on Sept. 10, Daniels said.

He is currently in custody at the Delaware County Jail and no further court dates have been set, Daniels said.
