academic honor team

Calvin Goodman, son of Matthew and Christy Goodman of Columbus, has been named to the 2009 All-Diocesan Academic Honor Team. He is a graduating senior from Bishop Ready High School, where he is a member of the BETA Club and National Honor Society. Goodman also is a member of the bowling team and participates in theater productions.

Goodman received the Denison Book Award and academic scholarships from Battelle, Kiwanis and the OSU-Honda Partnership.

He volunteers as a PSR assistant teacher, Free Store aid and on the maintenance committee at St. Mary Magdalene parish, where he and his family are members.

Goodman will pursue a double major in computer science and engineering at Ohio State University.
