Spirit Breakfast, 7:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 15, at Bishop Ready High School, 707 Salisbury Road. Guest speaker will be Chris Strickland, assistant athletic trainer for the Columbus Blue Jackets hockey team. Cost is $15, with proceeds to benefit the school's athletic programs. Soup Lunch, noon-3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, at the Prairie Township Senior Center, 4616 W. Broad St. Menu includes Eleanor's famous homemade vegetable beef soup, salad, dessert and drink. Cost is $5. All proceeds benefit the Prairie Township Seniors. Call 878-5110.
